Designed by Sally Victor after Guggenheim 428224052_792578996235221_1870847580898458767_n.jpg Design Museum The Guggenheim Hat is a fabulous meeting of fashion and architecture Designed by American milliner Sally Victor after a visit to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in 1960, it features a collapsible structure and curving shape which is inspired by the iconic building. The New York museum was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in the 1950s. With its swooping curves and striking silhouette, it is a monument to modernism and arguably the most important building of Wright's late career. |
