금누리는 1951년 한국에서 태어났고 홍익대 미술대학 조소과와 대학원을 그리고 파리 응용미술 공예대학ENSAAMA 입체조형과 연구과정을 졸업했으며, 개인전 9회, 국내외 단체전 180여회에 걸친 활동을 하였다.
