모두가 직선으로 보였다. - 투시도법은 강력했다. 세잔느의 가치는 모두가 직선이라 할 때 나.는. 휘.어.져. 보.인.다. 라고 이야기 한 것. Everyone saw as Straight line. - Perspective was strong. When everyone told that everything is Straight, but Cézanne Paul said 'Everything is seen as curved line to me.' 사실 직선과 휘어짐이 공존한다. 눈으로만 보이는 게 전부가 아니다. 아는 대로 보이는 것. - 금누리 스승님 In fact, Straight line and curved line coexist. You can see as much as you know. - Professor Gumnuri. 백시내(물음) 앵그르에서 칸딘스키까지 얼마 전 예술의전당에서 '앵그르에서 칸딘스키까지'를 보게 되었습니다. 설명해주시는 분이 계셔서 처음부터 듣고 감상하게 되었는데, 추상화부분에서 궁금한 점이 생기기 시작했습니다. 과연 추상화를 한 마디로 정의를 내릴 수 있는 것인지요. 그리고 저는 아직까지 추상화를 어떻게 감상하고 느껴야 하는지 잘 모르겠습니다. 교수님은 추상화를 어떻게 감상하고, 생각하시는지 궁금합니다. Baik Si Nae(Question) From Ingres to Kandinsky. A short time ago, I saw ‘from Ingres to Kandinsky’ at Seoul Arts Center. There was a person who explained about the pictures. However, I started to curious about part of abstract painting. Can we define the abstract painting in only one word? In addition, I do not know how to appreciate about abstract painting. I just wonder how to appreciate and how to think about abstract painting.  Wassily Kandinsky, '가을Ⅱ',1912 source : http://www.dmtimes.co.kr/news/articleView.html?idxno=2647 금누리 스승님(답변) 잭슨폴록 그 사람은 물감을 던져서 그리는 것 쏟고.. 그 전에 유럽작가들이 비정형의 작품을 한다. 그런것도 그림이 되는거여.. 추상표현주의도 엄밀히 따지면 혁명이다. 예전에는 사실적인 재현이 중요했다. 갑자기 입체파 미래파가 생기면서 그것이 가치가 있다면 무엇이 중요해지는 것인가. 그것 자체가 중요해 지는 것이다. 표현보다 빛깔 자체가 중요하고 모양 자체가 중요하고, 빨강이면 빨강 자체가 중요한 것이다. 말레비치의 작품을 예를 들면 하얀 네모난 화폭에 하얀 네모를 그리는 것. 오늘날 미술은 알고 모르고가 아니라, 좋아하고 아니느냐이다. 지금 우리는 연구하고 공부하는 것은 그러한 상황을 공부하는 것이다. 기본적으로 좋아하느냐 좋아하지 않는냐 이다. That in itself is quite significant. Color and shape are vital to express. The red itself is significant. For instance, works of Kazimir Malevich are drawn white quadrilateral in a square of canvas. Today, whether we know about art or not dose not matter. What we study teach like the situation to us. Basically, the important thing is whether we like or not.
