Last class I asked if 3D printing was putting less emphasis on handmade objects. I think ever since the invention of the 3D printer craftsmen and artists have wondered how their future will change due to technological advancements. The professor gave an answer which I gave me new perspectives and insight.Inspite of technological advancements it is our hands that are living things. A book is a like a spoon, it is basic. Our hands are intelligent beings. Our hands carry a certain power that cannot be represented by a machine. Picked up by the hand, objects are between our eyes and hands. Trust your eyes, trust your hands, trust what you have. 지난 수업때 3D 프린트 때문에 손으로 만든 작품이 덜 중요하냐고 여쭤보았다.3D 프린트가 발명된 이후에 작가와 공예가들은 기술의 발전으로 그들의 미래가 어떻게 변화하는지 궁금해 한다고 생각한다. 스승님께서 나에게 새로운 관점과 통찰력을 주셨다.기술을 발전에도 불구하고 우리의 손은 살아 있는 것이다. 숟가락처럼 책은 기초이다. 우리 손은 총명한 것이다. 우리 손은 특정한 힘을 가지고 있고 이것을 대신할 기계가 없다. 손으로 사물을 들어 올렸을 때 사물은 우리의 눈과 손의 사이에 있다. 너의 눈을 믿으며, 손을 믿으며, 네가 가지고 있는 것을 믿어라. |
