Music not only helps a person’s development but it stimulates a person’s intellectual progression. Many Korean students are opting out of art or music because they want to spend more time preparing for college entrance exams. Students these days spend more time studying English than studying Korean. The professor believes that students should first study Korean, then English. Just like America, students were able to choose a foreign language to study, however nowadays students, for the most part students only study English. It is not that Koreans have better facilities for education, it is that parents want their kids to be higher educated. 음악은 자기 개발을 도와줄뿐만아니라 지적 능력을 활발하게 합니다. 많은 한국 학생은 대학입학 시험때문에 음악이나 예술 공부를 하지 않습니다. 요즘에는 학생들이 한국어보다 영어 공부에 더 집중합니다. 스승님께서 학생들이 영어보다 한국어를 먼저 공부해야 한다고 생각하십니다. 미국처럼 한국은 옛날에 외국어를 선택 할 수 있었지만 지금은 대부분 영어만 공부합니다. 한국의 부모들은 그들이 처한 교육환경보다 상대적으로 그들의 자녀들이 더 나은 교육을 받기를 원한다. |
