Built from 1921-1954, the Watts Towers are eerie, mysterious and magical, a singular, brilliant and quirky vision from the brain of one man: Simon Rodia.

The Spotmates spent an afternoon here in the Watts community, far away from our accustomed stomping grounds, and found a peace that stayed with us and effected us long after we left.
