This is the Church of Atlántida in Uruguay, designed by engineer Eladio Dieste and inaugurated in 1960.
Built from exposed reinforced brick, the church turns a simple, low-cost material into something almost weightless: wave-like walls, a floating curved roof, and a structure that feels handmade yet modern.
Officially known as the Church of Cristo Obrero and Our Lady of Lourdes, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2021.
